Kitchen Magic – TV Commercial

A TV commercial produced for Kitchen Magic, starring everyone’s favourite magician’s assistant and Strictly Come Dancing runner-up, the lovely Debbie McGee.

The creative challenge was to show Debbie transforming a tired, dated kitchen into a sparkling new one with just a click of her fingers — and a little bit of magic.

The shoot took place over two consecutive Thursdays in August. Day one focused on the “before” kitchen, after which the Kitchen Magic team carried out the full transformation over the following couple of days. We then returned to film the “after” kitchen.

A key technical challenge was precisely matching shots between the two kitchens to allow for a seamless split-screen reveal towards the end of the commercial.

The finished spot was broadcast on Channel 4 and distributed across multiple digital platforms.
