A music video produced for Massive Wagons’ track House of Noise — captured under some unusual conditions but with maximum energy behind the lens.
House of Noise comes from the band’s fifth studio album of the same name. The record gave Massive Wagons their first Top 10 entry on the Official UK Albums Chart, peaking at #9 nationally, topping the Rock & Metal Albums Chart, and placing highly across vinyl and physical sales charts — a strong showing for a band rooted in pure, no-nonsense British rock.
The video itself was shot on very short notice, with just one day of filming to pull everything together. As with many creative projects in 2020, pandemic lockdown restrictions dictated the rules: no more than two people could be in a room at once. This meant the band members never appeared together in the same physical space during the shoot — a challenge turned into a creative constraint that gives the video a unique, almost collage-like energy.
Rather than letting the restrictions hinder the shoot, we leaned into them — finding inventive ways to use framing, movement, and cut-aways that amplify the track’s punchy hooks and tongue-in-cheek spirit. The result feels like a rock video by way of a clever puzzle — raw, kinetic, and undeniably Massive Wagons.
This wasn’t the first time we’d collaborated with the band: in addition to music videos, we’ve worked with Massive Wagons on live broadcasts and a virtual festival performance, forging a rapport where speed, adaptability, and capturing performance energy are always front and centre.
Shot and edited to match the band’s kinetic vibe, this video captures both the chaos and fun behind House of Noise — a track and project that found its way into the charts despite the turbulence of what that crazy year had to throw at us all.
